After Spirited Away is phenomenal, I am looking forward to what the next work of Hayao Miyazaki. Apparently his work after that is an adaptation of the children's novel by Diana Wynne Jones. One of the unique things to note. By Ursula K. Le Guin originally promised that Studio Ghibli Hayao Miyazaki about directing Tales of the Earthsea before finally director seats were occupied by the child, the reasons given at that time was that Miyazaki wanted to retire from the world of directors. Not him Miyazaki secretly working on Howl's Moving Castle. It makes me wonder, what kind of masterpiece that was prepared by him until he was willing and have the heart menganaktirikan Earthsea?

Sophie Hatter was a little girl-a bit insecure. He felt he was ugly and seemed to 'punish' himself he always worked in shops late father made hats. Day by day with the usual routine is adopted by Sophie who happened to live in a country that has not been affected by the war that was raging. Sophie later life changes when he meets a mysterious wizard named Howl. Howl is a handsome woman loved by many - including witch named Witch of the Waste - a jealous would Howl approaching and protect Sophie. Subject to the curse, Sophie is a young lady who later turned into a old fart.
Fortunately, Sophie never gave up. All alone he searched the castle Howl and disguised as an old woman janitor there. He also established friendships with the other inhabitants of the castle Howl: Calcifer the fire demon who worked under Howl and Markl which is the only pupil Howl. Howl which is a great magician, of course, know about the real identity of Howl and slowly fell in love with Sophie, and vice versa. However, in the middle of the war is increasingly widespread and very different life, would they be able to find happiness?
I do not know why but Howl's Moving Castle is not spelled out in my favorite Ghibli animation lined. The story is too confusing and nggerambyah Javanese term alias is not the focus. The reason why the war happened is never obvious nor why Howl going to try to prevent war. In an interview, Miyazaki said that Howl which is a symbol of his pacifist who opposed the Iraq war that made America. Okay, I can understand that - but the audience which might give a damn about what to Miyazaki symbolized? With so many subplots seliweran this makes the main plot you want is highlighted: self-acceptance Sophie to free himself from the curse, it seems less focused. It's as if Miyazaki's Sophie's trying to hard to make a girl character strong as most other film but the fall failed.
Yet, as bad-bad Miyazaki films he is still an animation with a quality above average. The quality of animation in this film is a beautiful blend between scratches hand 2D and 3D effects. Castle Howl Movement is also very spoil the eye even though this film has stepped age of five years. I was also pleased with the character interaction with each other in the castle Howl that form a dysfunctional family who love each other.
